Sex Tips Women Should Know

Every woman has a surefire happy-making position — find yours

By all means, try new things, mix it up, find an alternate use for your baby's exersaucer when she's asleep if it adds to the variety — but figure out your no-fail move or position so you know you can always have an orgasm when you need one.

That position may change

Maybe in your misspent youth you were all about acrobatics and funky props, but now you strive for a deep connection with your guy. (Or maybe it's the other way around!) What you crave, both physically and emotionally, can shift over time, says Mary Jane Minkin, M.D., a clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Yale School of Medicine. Pay attention to what you're feeling (or not feeling) and adapt to your new normal.

He doesn't have a flaw-o-meter

That would be you scanning your body for an errant pudge or a dimple in the wrong place. "During sexual arousal, men are experiencing such a neurochemical cocktail rush, they're really just caught up in the intoxication of it all," says REDBOOK Love Network expert and sex therapist Ian Kerner, Ph.D., author of She Comes First. In other words, he's too overwhelmed with joy to notice your "flaws." Put aside your body angst and you'll soon be having as much fun as he is.

Sex in a soft, clean, comfy bed is underrated

You're supposed to want to do it on the kitchen floor, in the airplane bathroom and hanging from your light fixtures. Bah! There's no shame in enjoying your good sheets.

Sex clichés are clichés for a reason: They work

Get a hotel room. Have date night. Take a bubble bath. For God's sake, buy some scented candles already!

Everyone else is not having more (or better) sex than you are

There is no "normal" amount we should all aspire to, no magic number of times per month that signifies your relationship is hunky-dory. There's only one question you need to answer — are you having enough sex for you?

Asking for what you want is worth the embarrassment

What's a brief awkward moment of sounding like one of those women at the end of a 900 number compared to, well, getting what you need?

How T.B Joshua Delivered me from Smoking - Tonto Dikeh

Nollywood actress Tonto Dike, 27, who most of the time is in the news for the wrong reasons recently showed a generous side of her that should ordinarily get her in our good books but that is not the bone of contention now.

According to her, “I didn’t quit smoking by myself. I was watching a program on TV with Prophet T.B. Joshua and he was laying hands on people and praying for them. I love to watch his programs on Emmanuel TV. When he was praying, he said, ‘Lay your hands on the TV’ and I just laid my hands that day. I actually needed something else from God, not to quit smoking because I loved smoking! However, after praying I sat back and I think I slept off.”
Going further, she said, “When I woke up, I took a stick of cigarette and I felt crazy. I couldn’t even imagine that I took it up to smoke in the first place. It felt like poison!”
It’s too early to say but let’s hope she has quitted for real because it takes alot of dedication and personal conviction to lay off cigarettes especially after being a smoker for that long.

Kunle Afolayan’s mother Claims Selling Puff Puff and Pepper soup to Educate his Son

The mother of popular moviedirector-producer, Kunle Afolayan featured on a recent edition of the ongoing Supermom reality TV show where she gave an account of her experience bringing up her children in a polygamous home that had a sojourner as head.
The 69-year-old woman told the story of how she got married at a very early age to her late husband, Ade Love whose profession as a movie maker caused him to travel frequently.
According to her, her husband non availability and his preference to invest in his business coupled
with the polygamous nature of the home exposed her to so much trauma. She soon ventured into the sale of puff puff and later, pepper soup.
Shortly before Kunle was five years old, she says, they were thrown out of the house and had to temporarily put up in a friend’s house, ‘All we did was spend the night there. I was pregnant with my last child then and would sit outside in the cold till the mama would come back, freshen up and then ask us to come in and sleep…it wasn’t convenient because there were bed bugs in the room and I had to stay up in the nights to keep them from biting my boys‘, she said.
Not long after, they got a place of theirs to stay but like the mighty wind in the popular fairy tale, a flood came one day and destroyed all her properties. She had to start from the beginning.
Kunle who is now a popular actor and internationally-acclaimed movie maker, says although things are better, he can not forget those days when his mother sold her wrappers to get him educated.

Blonde rapper Nicki Minaj will join America Idol as a judge next season, US Weekly reported this afternoon. The Trinidadian MC, born Onika Tanya Maraj joins Mariah Carey as a new regular on the declining ratings giant.
What's good for Nicki is not so good for Randy Jackson, the last remaining member of the original AI troika of judges, along with Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell. Jackson will move to a "mentoring role" on the show, according to an US source. Among the other music celebs rrumored for a seat on the panel are Jonas bro Nick Jonas, Neptunes producer-singer Pharrell Williams, and still not married to Anna Kournikova heartthrob Enrique Iglesias.
With Minaj, AI will get two judges in one, if she brings along her outlier alter ego Roman Zolanski, showcased on this year's Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded album and her train wreck performance on this year's Grammy telecast.
Her ascendancy is sure to spice up Idol; it comes on the heels of a Twitter tantrum this morning in which she responded to criticism that she canceled a number of UK shows due to vocal issues by lashing out thusly:
"I was in jeopardy of losing my voice entirely and needing surgery on my vocal chord. If u can't understand that, your mother's a WHORE!!!!" she Tweeted. "I will NOT let you people make me feel horrible for a f---ing HEALTH issue! That's what got me in this mess! I shldve listened 2 the doctor!"

Well,we can authouritatively revealed that, there is more to this than meet the eyes.

Nse Etim “I Grew Up Befriending Animals Because My Parents Were too Busy”

Nollywood actress, Nse Etim, speaks with ADEMOLA OLONILUA about her career and sundry matters

My hairstyle

Nse Etim: I don’t wear dreadlocks, it is just my natural hair that you are seeing. I twist it and loose it when I choose to. I do not fix a weave-on because it is artificial. I carry my hair most of the time, except when I have to attach something else to it. If I am playing a role in a home video film, I wear another hairstyle. I am an easy-going person, though I am inclined to lose my temper sometimes. My bark is worse than my bite and I am a simple person.

Life after graduation

Nse Etim: After graduating from the University of Calabar, I worked with a radio station and a television station. I did a bit of film acting before getting a job in a bank.

Why I quit banking

Nse Etim: I don’t think I remember the year I quit banking. But when I decided it was not longer what I wanted to do I had to leave. I was doing the same thing everyday. I was not passionate about it and I think if you want to earn a living, you should be passionate about what you do.
How I became an actress
Nse Etim: A movie producer, Emem Isong, brought a script to me and asked me to read it. Initially I wasn’t enthusiastic about it, but she insisted and I eventually did it. I decided to start a career as an actress after I took part in the movie titled, Guilty Pleasures. That was my turning point. I owe this to movie fans. They made me who I am today.
My parents’ reaction
Nse Etim: When I decided to be an actress, I was old enough to choose for myself. But my mother only hoped it would work. Now she is my greatest fan. When I say I was rebellious, I mean that I was assertive as a child. I knew what you wanted and went for it. That is how I was brought up:  to know what I want. My mum did not think it was right. So I left acting and went into banking. When I got out, I said to her: now that I have  done your wish, let me do mine.

Most challenging movie

Nse Etim: Honestly I haven’t found any movie that I’d describe as most challenging for me. Also, no role has been insurmountable to me.

Nollywood

Nse Etim: I am an ardent fan of Nollywood. I think it is still developing. We are trying our best to keep it alive, considering the fact that we work under difficult conditions. We hope it will get better some day.

Challenges facing Nollywood

Nse Etim: The greatest challenge is, perhaps, the environment. There are no good roads and there is irregular power supply. Basically, we are suffering in order to put smiles on the faces of the people. In terms of infrastructure, I think we are doing our best, too. We are struggling to succeed in spite of the odds.

Why I lived with my godmother

Nse Etim: Since my parents were very busy when I was much younger, I had to live with my godmother. My mother was still in school and my father had a busy work schedule at the time. But my godmother was not too busy for me. We were quite close. Apart from the neighbour’s son who was my friend, the other friends I had were animals. That was how I grew up. I never felt lonely all that while.

Growing up in the North

Nse Etim: I grew up in the North. Life was beautiful then. Kaduna had lovely hotels where we used to go and swim. Zaria was peaceful and the residents were friendly. Jos had the best yoghurt in the country at that time. As a child, I loved to take yoghurt. Today, I doubt if you could find any that is as tasteful as what we used to buy in those days. Now you have to go all the way to a big store to buy bread. And then, everything in the North just changed.

The crisis in the North

Nse Etim: It is just heart breaking. I think Nigeria is passing through a phase. Some people have said that for the land to be cleansed, blood will have to be shed. I think that is selfish. I do not want my blood to be shed. This is not the way to solve problems. It is painful that we resort to violence to get things done in this country. I hope that the problems in the North will be solved soon.

My most embarrassing moment

Nse Etim: My most embarrassing moment is the day fell off an airplane. I did not remove my glasses and everything went misty. I fell down when I was descending the staircase. The worst part was that I had to struggle to get up on my feet.

My relationships

Nse Etim: I am not involved in a relationship. I don’t think that everybody needs a companion. Lonely people ought to keep themselves occupied with work or they would be bored to death. When I don’t have any work to do, I read books to keep my mind busy. If I don’t have any book to read, I watch a movie or get busy in the kitchen.
